These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Maison Voyage's tour guide services. By making a booking with us, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.
1. The Service
Maison Voyage provides private and group tour guiding services in Paris, Versailles, Fontainebleau, the Champagne region and other destinations in France. Tours are conducted in English, Arabic, French, Russian and Georgian.
All tours are led by a qualified, experienced professional guide. Tours are subject to availability and confirmation.
2. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of written confirmation from Maison Voyage. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
Please ensure that all booking details — including group size, tour date, meeting point and special requirements — are accurate at the time of booking. Any changes must be communicated as soon as possible.
3. Pricing
All prices are quoted in Euros (EUR) and are per person unless otherwise stated. Prices are as indicated at the time of booking and may vary depending on group size, tour duration and any additional services requested.
The following are not included in the tour price unless expressly stated:
- Entry tickets to museums, châteaux or other attractions
- Food and beverages
- Transport to and from the meeting point
- Gratuities (entirely at your discretion)
4. Payment
Payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking. For bookings made through third-party platforms (Viator, TripAdvisor), the payment and refund policies of those platforms apply.
For direct bookings, payment is due as agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer and other payment methods as specified at the time of booking.
5. Cancellation Policy
5.1 Cancellations by the Client
- Cancellation more than 24 hours before the tour start time: full refund
- Cancellation less than 24 hours before the tour start time: no refund
- No-show without prior notice: no refund
To cancel, please notify us in writing by email at the earliest opportunity.
5.2 Cancellations by Maison Voyage
We reserve the right to cancel a tour in the following circumstances:
- Severe weather conditions that make the tour unsafe or impracticable
- Insufficient number of participants (for group tours)
- Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (force majeure)
In the event of cancellation by Maison Voyage, a full refund will be provided or an alternative date offered where possible.
6. Client Responsibilities
By booking a tour with Maison Voyage, you agree to:
- Arrive at the agreed meeting point on time. Tours will begin at the scheduled time and we cannot guarantee to wait for late arrivals.
- Behave respectfully towards your guide, other tour participants and the sites visited
- Follow any instructions given by your guide for safety or access reasons
- Ensure that all members of your group are physically able to participate in the chosen tour
Maison Voyage reserves the right to exclude any client from a tour whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate, without refund.
7. Liability
Maison Voyage takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and quality of our tours. However, we cannot accept liability for:
- Personal injury, loss or damage to personal property during a tour
- Delays, closures or changes at visited sites beyond our control
- Any indirect or consequential loss arising from participation in a tour
Clients participate in tours at their own risk. We strongly recommend that all clients hold appropriate travel insurance.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Maison Voyage website, including text, images, logo and tour descriptions, is the property of Maison Voyage and may not be reproduced without prior written permission.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with French law. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on our website. Continued use of our services after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
